Staff Assist Program
Our Staff Assist Program provides the opportunity for staff to meet individually and privately with a Positive Solutions’ practitioner for up to one hour. This is an extremely positive and cost effective way for management to allow staff to deal with concerns and promote positive change processes in the organisation.
The session is not counselling. The focus is on the individual staff member raising any concerns they have about their workplace, how it is affecting them individually, and how they believe it is affecting the wider group they work with.
It assists the person to decide if and how they can act to improve the situation. The focus then shifts to identifying possible issues and solutions that the wider group can consider as a whole and how this could be implemented. The session also assists the individual to identify actions they can undertake themselves to help improve their immediate day-to-day work environment.
Further sessions (if needed) can be held at a later date where the individual staff member is able to review what has improved/changed since the first meeting, and also areas that need further attention.
The individual sessions are confidential. Positive Solutions identifies common issues/themes, actions and solutions that have been identified/suggested, and these are provided to the employer in a summary format.
